Maternity Session Preview

I can't say that I have done very many maternity sessions, in fact, I can't really say that I have done a whole lot of any kind of sessions being that I'm just getting my feet wet. With the couple of maternity sessions that I do have under my belt, I would like to hope that they get better and better.

Well, I don't know how much talent I really had to possess for this shoot. I mean, this lady is absolutely gorgeous, not to mention that pregnancy glow. I think it just has to be a sin to be this beautiful AND 8-months-pregnant. It's just not fair!!

Here is a quick preview of our session! She totally rocked it, didn't she?? More to come, but couldn't wait to share!!

Daycare Beach Pics

Here's a quickie post of Little M at the daycare where my gorgeous guy little attends. I loved all of his shots. He was so happy and playful and had the most adorable blue eyes and grin. Hope you enjoy!!

My First Newborn Session

A co-worker at my regular job and very close friend of mine is the grandmother to two beautiful grandsons and one on-the-way. Shea, 3-years-old, is an absolute joy to photograph. He has these dramatic features about him that photographers can't help but love...big pouty lips, dark hair & dark brown eyes. Shea now has an equally gorgeous baby cousin, six-weeks-old, and a soon-to-be baby brother expected in August. I can't wait until our next session together.

This is some of my favorites from Shea & Quade's session...

Why Photography?

Photography has always been a deep set passion in my life. I attempted a course in photography after I graduated from college, but it just wasn't the right time in my life. I hadn't found that driving force that keeps you yearning to learn more. I found that I was easily distracted and become more frustrated and so photography fell by the waste-side. When I had my son in 2006, I fell in love all over again. I couldn't put my camera down. Photography became my second love, after my family, and that fire to learn & grow hasn't died out. I have had some amazing support and advise from some wonderful photographers. I am by no means "professional". I'm just Mommy with a camera and a burning desire to take it up a level.
